I'm Chase and I attend Stratford High School in Houston, TX. I created Great Oak shampoo, which is plant-based and works as well as the large store brands without the harsh chemicals. Great Oak is sulfate-free and paraben-free.
The name Great Oak was inspired by the Great Oak tree at the local Western Academy in west Houston, reflecting strength, durability, and natural growth.
For over 10 months, I experimented with over 25 different formulas and various plant-based ingredients until finally finding the best one. We make small batches of 10 to 14 bottles at a time.
